Jonah has come off as phony as fuck to me for many years, good for Sarah for posting all of that, that shit is insidious and losers like Jonah need to be called out far more.

Irrelevant but Rogen seems like the coolest / most down the earth dude from that circle of Apatow-raised actor friends that came up in the mid 00’s

 

Definitely disappointed and fuck him but the “dude was always a phony and I’ve known that for years” posts are always so stupid. Like good for you?

 

The fact that a guy who's been bullied for his looks his whole life turned out to be an insecure asshole is not really surprising, albeit disappointing.

They aren’t stupid, he goes on talk shows and podcasts and talks so much about therapy and self
improvement and his own self improvement and the people who over advertise that shit like he does are always phony and problematic. So screw off with that

 

I’ve never seen someone go on such a public crusade about their own transformation. I worked in a space for years where i’ve seen tons of people make drastic changes in their lives and it’s always the ones who are most quiet about it are the most genuine and legitimate.

 

I don’t think the point was that people couldn’t have guessed it but more that it tends to be used as a high horse “well I knew and everyone else is stupid” thing

 

Up there with “[person] sucked anyways” in common, annoying, unhelpful posts, lol.
