Small sample size, but there was less overlap between those two lists than I expected. Honestly a very strong first 5 months of music in 2018

That Uproxx list is...different

 

They limit themselves by posting a month+ early and don't even include the best record of the year smh

 

eh it feels like them, they actually let their writers have a say which leads to some diverse lists as opposed to more of a universal vision

the records at the top seem like the ones that make most sense generally for this year

 

Ok but shout out uproxx for putting that Kyle album so high

 

Also shout out uproxx for giving Janelle the #1 spot. I hope that's the trend this year

(But yea I don't understand why they do these already)

 

P4K will def do one in the next couple of weeks. And prob another best albums of the decade list for shits and giggles.

 

every pub will have one of these come out in the next two-three weeks or so, figured this thread was coming anyways, hah

 

I think music publications need to go re-learn the calendar.
