I don't remember them playing any new songs. Mostly off of Stovall but also played at least one, maybe both of the songs off the split with Head North. I spoke with the lead singer after, he said a new album should be out this summer. He also said it's "different, but I think people will love it".
Saw these guys headline a hometown show last night and they absolutely killed it. They played a new song that sounded great, but didn't mention anything about a possible release date, unfortunately.
Loved their set opening for The Wonder Years. Enjoying their record a bit. Reminds me of Taking Back Sunday.
Along with Driver Friendly, I would put them as one of the best smaller bands I've seen open for someone. They just have a nice sound to them. Also they have a shirt with just a microwave and it is now one of my favorite items of band merch I own just because it is great.
Forever loving this band, the EP version of Something Right came on and I forgot how much I enjoy it. Hoping for an early fall release and a headling tour. They DID just open for TWY.
Less Manchester and all get out than their other stuff, which is good they needed to separate themselves
Agree. imho the best Microwave album is a balance of super dynamic (Thinking of you) songs with simpler ones (Work It Out). This definitely is of the latter, but it's still great.
