I love this record much more than I thought I would.

 

album rips. big fan after 1.5 listens.

 

I think I was a little late to check out Stovall but now that I was the hype train I'm really enjoying this record. I expect it to get a lot more attention from me and it's a strong contender for the AOTY list.

 

I like this a lot, big step up from Stovall.

 

As of right now I like them both equally

Living in the bible belt is truly an experience. My best friend is getting her Masters in Biology, and can't let her family know she doesn't believe in God. She also can't have alcohol at her OWN wedding because her family doesn't know she drinks, and they're baptist (which is a big no no)

It blows my damn mind. And I live in Tennessee. It gets weirder the deeper south you go.

 

I didn't have alcohol at my own wedding bc my family is Mormon and I was being respectful to them. Not that weird imo

Wasn't very familiar w/ this band until a few months ago. Big fan of this album. Need to give more attn to Stovall now.

 

These songs are such earworms. All I have to do is think about them and they get stuck in my head.


I think the opener is my least favorite but I enjoy the placement of Lighterless immediately following it.

 

This record is so well paced too, god damn.

 

Roaches is my least favorite but I still really like it.

 

well this album rules. still coming around on the back half, but i love the closing track

 

Interesting, I think the back half is so strong. Vomit, whimper, and wrong are probably my favorites. I guess they don't flow together as well as the front half though. And homebody is the weakest song on the record besides roaches in my opinion.

 

The hooks on the front half are just so strong imo, and I think "Busy" is my least favorite

 

Busy is one of my personal favorites. Contains my favorite line of the record: "I’ll find new ends to replace the loose ones/ cause cutting ties is easier than learning knots to tie them up"

 

Roaches is fantastic
