That actually gets me so hyped because that's the only thing I didn't like about Stovall. This is a real dark horse in a year with so much great stuff. Looking forward to next week.

 

Art work makes more sense after hearing some of these songs, there's definitely a throwback feel on here

 

Roaches is not what I thought it'd be

The only review I found said Roaches was the only not so great song on the record.

Thought it would be a way more upbeat opener

I like it a lot. I've only listened once but it was cool. The singles are much better in context than standing alone IMO. The closer is probably my favorite

 

I LOVE Wrong.

 

Roaches is much more slower opener and meant to be kind of a pre intro to Lighterless.

But it's also a weird one and I really think sets the mood very well for the record. It's not a Stovall, that's for sure.

 

neighbors continues the trend of songs being called neighbors being really good

 

Neighbors into Busy is awesome.

 

Yeah I'm just loving this whole thing. Related to the themes of the last one more with leaving the Church but musically this is better imo

 

Not a big fan of the first 50 seconds of Neighbors. But once the band kicks in it gets going.

Great, great album. Neighbors is easily one of the best songs of the year in this style of music.

 

Loving the positive reaction from those who have heard it. My pre-order was delivered this morning so I can't wait to get home from work and blast this on my living room stereo. Sorry neighbors.

Don't know if anyone's caught it like but I like how Homebody plays one the same licks from Busy. Really ties the two songs together.

 

second listen and I already feel the album growing on me!

 

album feels a little short, but its so good

 

I take it back, Neighbors is fuckin tight.

 

Okay Neighbors has a part that's eerily similar to another older popular song but I just can't remember the name of it....


EDIT: was thinking about Shania Twain - You're Still The One.

 

might take a minute to digest this and figure out what i think about it, but the closer is really pretty.
