Microwave is one of my favorite bands but the lyrics to Hate TKO give me bad vibes. Like it seems that he’s low key trying to say “cancel culture is a problem and takes things too far.” Have any of you gotten weird vibes from that song?
I've never read the lyrics before but yeah I think that's what it means. Though the song is sarcastic I read the message as "Don't just abandon people because they did something wrong" What he defines as "wrong" and "the scene" is not specified so hard to know exactly what the message is behind the song.
hell fucking yes. Much Love is one of my favorite records and this sounds kind of like a progression of that era.
Pure Noise is like five minutes from my house about to knock on the door and see if I can get a sneak peak for some cookies or some shit
Like the song. I loved Much Love but couldn’t get into Death Is a Warm Blanket, so this is a welcome return for me
I think you could’ve played me this new song without telling me it was Microwave and I would’ve picked it from the opening riff. Loved DIAWB despite not going back to it much, it’s a hard album to digest but it’s really good. Excited for any new stuff they have cooking
I was the opposite, couldn't get into Much Love but thought DIAWB was great. Really like the new track too
