i dont think this record happens without daisy existing, honestly. i think its the clearest comparison for me.

 

I thought the same thing. I can't remember which song off the top of my head, but one of them immediately reminded me of "451".

 

Wow I feel a bit vindicated then. Daisy used to be my favorite

Part Of It is a perfect closer. One of the best songs I've heard this year.

 

I think after my third listen Carry is my fav. Really happy with the direction they took on this though.

 

This sounds to me like "They're Only Chasing Safety" and Manchester Orchestra had a baby and raised it listening only to Nirvana.

I didn't know I wanted that, but I most certainly do.

 

Where do you hear TOCS on this?

definitely litsos, the drums sound huge like that album (thanks to goldman). also the chariot.

 

Jarring in the same way EIGTH, but better hooks.

 

Most impressive transitions on a record I've heard in ages.

 

Oh I can't listen to this if I can't start at Track 1 because the flow. It's just not possible.

 

I was really only speaking to the screaming vocals, which reminded me a lot of Spencer's voice in the TOCS era. But musically, I can definitely hear the other two records as well.

 

Just go ahead and play this record in full along with but not often and something right for your tour set yes thank u

They sounded awesome there. Seemed like the crowd was feeling them too, which was nice to see.

 

This still slaps. Definitely one of my favourite releases this year. It's been holding up really well after a ton of plays.

 

Driving 5 hours to Philly to see them because why not ‍

 

I am still obsessed with this album. I can play it straight through and not skip anything
