Halfway through this and really enjoying it except Ruffalo's Trump schtick is laid on SO thick that it's taking me out of it. Thematically it could work with a little more subtlety, but it feels shoehorned in, especially the hints at creating a "pure" planet and complaining about the "muddy people on Earth" because as far as I can tell, the colony houses all kinds of people from different races?
I thought it was too much but then he filmed a Tesla commercial on the white house lawn so idk anymore life is stupid
Yeah, it's not so much the accuracy as it is me growing tired of seeing Trump impressions everywhere for the past 10 years.
Yeah, thought this was good but could have been great if they trimmed 20 minutes and made it a little more focused. Pattinson was great. Ruffalo bordered on SNL sketch at times, but seeing him explode was very satisfying
Really enjoyed this. The romance of Nasha loving every version of Mickey really got me. And her choosing to abolish the idea of never having to lose him in exchange for building a life and growing old together. Definitely felt the political stuff as well but I wasn’t expecting the love story
Thinking back, this really needed some editing more than anything. Beginning took so long, and the ending was a convoluted mess that didn’t make sense, but the initial reveal was fun and a lot of scenes mostly worked still. Pretty good for a bloated mess.
