Wait, New Radicals as in the ones who were gonna kick Beck and Hanson's asses?

 

I never expected to see new music released by New Radicals in any way/shape/form. This is amazing.

 

Fucking same!!

 

Gregg sounds the same as he did 30 years ago.

 

I know, it made me so damn happy

 

Well he wrote the song originally, and murder on the dancefloor as well

 

Using the New Radicals name definitely feels like testing the waters for something more…

 

People who only know New Radicals from You Get What You Give are doing themselves a serious disservice; that record was sooo good. I just discovered Danielle Brisebois' couple of releases from the 90's that Gregg produced. That second record from 1999 sounds like it could be the missing New Radicals follow up. Like when I saw Begin Again and could tell he had written a lot of the songs for the film, Gregg's songwriting is so distinct.

 

As good an excuse as any to watch this video for the umpteenth time.

 

when this showed up in my recommended new releases from apple, i was elated. i always liked michelle branch, but i always loved new radicals. pumped to have gregg on anything and hopefully it cracks the door open for more.

 

In 2024, New Radicals recorded and released their versions of Murder on the Dancefloor and Lost Stars
