Like many here, I dig "Fault Line" a lot. "Not a Love Song" strikes me as the most 'old school' song, the one I could imagine being on her previous records. Other than that though, the overall impression was 'meh.' Was oddly compelled to put on Rilo Kiley's Under the Blacklight after first listen.
I feel like this will really disappoint fans who wanted more of her first two records, but this is a very strong album, and a much abler adaptation to a more indie sound than peers like Vanessa Carlton made.
