Lyric was initially “me and my girl” but they thought it was cheesy so they put something ambiguous

 

I really like this album a lot, it's really hitting this sweet spot I've been craving for a long time. In a way it reminds me of mid-aughts Flaming Lips, which is my favorite era of theirs, because I feel like I'm finally getting an album similar to that. Not necessarily in sound exactly, but more in that its psychedelic pop where the balance is just right.

Oh, and anyone else getting mega Thundercat vibes on that first song?

They're writing hooks again! "Me and Michael" is the jam, but I really enjoy almost all of this.
