Has MF Doom just hinted Kendrick Lamar collaboration? Not sure what to make of this. This would have been after he had passed away so idk why someone would use his social media handle for something like this. Kendrick and DOOM on a track would be a dream for me though
We don't need it or want it. Or at least I don't want it. DOOM can rap circles around Kendrick and I don't think their styles would mesh IMO.
At the time the picture of KL was “posted”, he had already passed and it was probably his social media team (who probably weren’t even aware of his passing) throwing up pics of people using the recently released DOOM mask filter. If I remember correctly, they were putting the filter over a lot of pictures. It’s nothing.
Listened to Madvillain for the first time since his death yesterday. Felt different, can't put my finger on why. Nearly cried when ALL CAPS came on. Blah.
Gave King Geedorah a listen while on a run during sunset yesterday, and the heartfelt beauty of the production really came out for me. The lyrics and melodies of that album in particular feel introspective. Might've also been the nostalgia. That said, The Fine Print is a banger beyond all bangers.
Watch a young MF Doom address the US Senate about youth voter registration in 1991 | Boing Boing He was a good one.
I haven’t listened to much of his music, and I need to change that. But I saw this beer at a shop recently and thought ya’ll might be interested!
Update: beer is excellent. I love barrel-aged saisons so this is right up my alley. Partially aged in walnut spirit barrels which is pretty wild too. Certainly a very unique beer!
Listening to Stahhr, or Empress Stahhr, who is featured on a bunch of MF DOOM's stuff. She's only got one full album available on streaming and it's damn fantastic. Thoroughly enjoying this. Amazing production and killer raps. There's even a lil Deltron feature. For fans of underground stuff...
IDK allegedly has an upcoming song featuring DOOM too. He already had one that was dope so I believe it
