Yeah I'm really curious about the timeline. I would imagine announcing the new album would detract from this a bit (which I imagine they want to avoid), but most labels want about 3 months between announcement and release to promote an album so that would put us in October at this point. I dunno, I guess we'll see
i really enjoyed this and still got chills watching in a sweater poorly knit. so glad i got to catch the greensboro stop of this tour. also, this could have been one camera only on rickie drumming the entire time and i still wouldve been happy. dude is a joy to watch.
I dreamed that the album was called “the polyvinyl forum, the something something” except I couldn’t remember the last two words. The artwork was a gold/yellow pyramid shaped object with linework on on it against a white cream background with different grass-like ornamental designs around it, almost like they were magnetically attracted to it.
Hmm... I'll look through his stuff and see that either I was inspired by his past work or I'm a soothsayer.
They tease so much. Rickie posted some video of Windows Media Player visualizations to the new music without audio on Instagram the other day. They LOVE teasing.
The thing that kills me is that this isn't even the real teasing, at least compared to the Pale Horses and reissues of INSIWB and A-B Life rollouts. They posted the 'Thy foes profanely rage' teaser on Youtube in November 2014 for an album that came out in June 2015. I'll die if we get a first proper tease after all the stuff Rickie and some of the others have been doing and then the album doesn't come for another seven months. But maybe they'll do a more basic rollout this time around. No props-related teaser videos cause Mike Almquist has a new baby and got no time for it or something.
This would have been perfect (perfect because we'd all be listening to mewithoutYou today...) If @bedwettingcosmo dies every morning I hate to think what devastation this kind of tweet may cause.
