I've never been in the camp of wanting a tour of this album however now that it is happening, it's a shame to not hear Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurts and The Cure For Pain live. Would love to see both of them - hope there are some good quality videos. PS. I live in the UK, hence not seeing the tour!
I think I'm actually going to hold off on picking up the record. I have so many open preorders right now. And with money being tight, I'm going to say no as much as hard as that is.
YES. Love this album. Their second weakest (above only it's all crazy, which a stance I'm sure won't be popular), but that's not really a diss for a band this good. Can't wait to hear "Bullet to Binary," "Silencer," etc. live.
A little relieved I don't need to angst about seeing them play or not since they aren't coming anywhere near me. Still waffling about some of that merch though. Silkscreen and t shirt are verrry tempting.
I already own a copy of this that I grabbed in 2011. I don't need another. I want it though. I want that tour variant, but can't afford another tour (because I'm saving what is left of that budget for Brand New).
Feel they missed a treat in the 'reveal video' last night. Picture it - a video of Aaron speaking/shouting something to this effect: "And through a garden overgrown Oh, it's a long walk home. I said I'm not playing these songs again, well now I'm playing these songs...! and you'd better come see the tour." That's really bad, especially when considering it took me a whole 30 minute walk home from work to come up with it. But you know what I'm saying... #awkward #gentlemenpt2
I'm not crazy about A-->B that much these days either, BUT I would love to hear some of those songs live. Plus Pianos.
i love that they kinda have this Esao Andrews thing where all of their artwork for their releases, tour posters, etc all seem like theyre interconnected and drawn in the same style. super cool AB is one of the better early 2000s scene releases only because Aaron was very conscious of the fact that a lot of what he was saying on certain songs like Gentlemen were kinda gross and he even says on the album a few times that hes a kind of twisted person in a bad mental health state. i like that a lot, even at a young age Aaron was wise beyond his years.
My stomach swears there's comfort there In the warmth of the blankets on your bed My stomach's always been a liar- I'll believe it's lies again.
i don't even mind, i'm getting a copy right from the band instead of resellers charging $50 though i wonder what happened to the original masters
