The tour last fall was more of a celebration for the 15th anniversary of the band. They did play 3-4 AB songs, but it wasn't specifically a celebration of the record. I don't know, the pictures going backwards from most recent to AB era is very interesting in this teaser. Kind of really hope its not an AB Life tour. I don't really like that album outside of a few songs.
I remember after the 15 year tour last year they tweeted something saying how much fun they were having playing the A-B Life songs again and ended it with something along the lines of "Is it too late to do a full album tour?"
I wouldn't be particularly jazzed for an A->B tour, which this video seems to hint pretty heavily toward. I don't hate that record or anything but I don't really revisit it much either. Much as I love to see this band live I don't know if I'd spend the money to see them play this album. Or a repress, for that matter...though wouldn't the same issues that prevented them from doing a CFUtF repress impact doing one of this album? Or did someone else own the publishing for it?
They've got the rights back to CFUTF I know, they're just waiting to do the deluxe repress. But hell yeah gimme an AB tour, all those songs are bangers
It's my least favorite album by them but those songs take on a new life in a live setting. Absolute rippers, they put the album to shame. Every time I see them perform those songs, I listen to A-B again, and it's never as good, but I always appreciate it more. Will def go see whatever this is
would love to see them play A->B but I feel like that album wouldn't have enough demand for that long of a tour
A->B isn't my favorite, but the songs do take on new life in a live setting. If it's a tour for that album, I'll definitely go. I'm still sad I missed the CUFTF tour
i like AB but Aaron has always kinda been ashamed of that album just because of how young and angry he was. reminds me of how Daryll from Glassjaw feels about EYEWTKAS
'Nice and Blue' will be reinvented to be about guinea pigs stealing marshmallows from a farmer's daughter's laundry basket
They show pictures from all the different album cycles so they could be doing a full discography tour.
I would lose my fucking mind but there's no way they do that haha. it goes in reverse from most recent press photos to AB era and ends on that.
aren't all their shows basically that i couldn't tell what era was what, i was guessing it was going through it all to get us ready for a new album but the going backwards definitely lends to an AB tour
No the ones where they play all of their albums front to back over a few nights. Idk, I just feel like an AB tour would be kind of lame, ha.
i feel like the date crossout thing would have been marked differently if it was a few nights thing, rather than a consecutive line. who knows though, haha.
