is this a guess or insider info?

  2. idk doing the whole video thing for just a tour announcement? I'm hoping there's at least a single or a pre-announcment.

or how about the CFUTF deluxes??

It sounds like a perfect combo. I hope they bring out some newer/younger bands with them.

i feel the same way about it's overkill for a tour announcement? that's why i'm intrigued to see if there are more teasers this week and this is just part one

A man's gotta sleep! Damn, I just realized we never got a Brother/Sister ten year tour, that would have been so rad.

These guys always change their sound up for each record, are we expecting a trip-hop album this time around?

  9. Yeah, I had to double check the year when that video went up to make sure i wasn't hyping myself up for the wrong thing. A 10 year tour and deluxe repress would have been hella cool for B,S

I would love to get a new album from them this year, but I'm not expecting it at all. 2018 seems more reasonable to me. I can't remember exactly how long ago it was, I'd say several weeks, but I remember them indicating on Twitter that they were still writing.

But then, if they are still writing or recording, why stop to go on a headline tour? Basically I have no idea what's going on.

I'd love a one-off single whether it's on the record or not to hold us off while they finish recording. But I agree with the tour speculation. Before pale horses I was always a casual fan but man I love seeing em live. Will travel for this.

I would love a new album from them right about now. They seem to really be in their stride the last 2 albums and have found a nice flow.

I remember when It's All Crazy! came out and there was so much talk of them disbanding. Then Ten Stories came out and it's like they've been going full throttle ever since, which is really impressive considering they are older and have families now.

I could have seen this happening easily.

I'm SO glad they came back balls to the wall for these last two records.

Now all I'm hoping for in their next album is for it to sound like a Combo of A>B Life meets Rainbow Signs. I could die happy then.

I think Rainbow Signs is already a combo of something else and A->B Life

Any chance the dates crossed out are when they're recording the new album?

I don't think they'd make a big deal about an announcement for that

If they already have a lot written that would be a long time to be in the studio.

They may have it all planned out from their recent writing retreat.

I don't know. We will see!

Interesting they said they don't have the energy for a b,s ten year but did a cfutf ten year. Since pale horses came out, this band tied with foxing as band I've seen the most live in the last couple of years, would love to add more shows to that counter

I mean, a lot can change between 2014 and 2016 as far as if a band wants to celebrate an album's anniversary. I'm sure they've been enjoying time off or spending their time writing a new album rather than touring B,S.

They did a secret show in Philly last December and played it front to back and that's probably all we're getting.

Oh hmm that's fair I thought they meant they didn't physically have the energy to perform that album as a tour

Having watched the video a few too many times they don't seem to cross out all the dates in October but they do cross out all in November. So I'm going to go out on a limb and predict they're heading into the studio for October to record an album and then heading out on tour for November. Maybe? I don't know. Perhaps it's wishful thinking but I like to think they'll record soon for an early 2018 release.

Edit: all of October does end up crossed out when they flip the page and start November.

I don't know. Two months for a tour when they've been touring quite extensively since Pale Horses seems like an odd thing for a teaser video.
