My first time seeing them was on this tour: Norma Jean and Beloved tour dates Club 412 on 2/7/03, so I was a bit over 16 and I went to go see Beloved and Norma Jean, but when mewithoutYou came out, wearing full eskimo coats and played about half or so of [A->B Life] and changed my life. I bought that album and a hoodie and it's never been the same. I barely cared about watching Norma Jean at that point. Seen them 15 or so times since then.
Also, a part of my dream last night was that they announced a new album to be released in December of 2017 and one of the songs was called "Nail Biters"
That was my first time seeing them as well! They put on a great set, as did Dredg(one of my favorite bands) Blood Brothers were atrocious, in my opinion.
I remember liking a few Blood Brothers songs, but their set was some of the most fun I've ever had watching a band live.
I like a lot of chaotic music(Converge, etc.) but there's something about them that never resonated with me.
Yeah Blood Brothers are one of those bands I enjoy a lot but totally understand when other people arnt into it.
It's always been the vocals that've kept me from liking bb. I want to so badly but I can't get past them ha
Just reminded me of dredg. Was really into them for a few years then the chuckles album came out and I've had trouble getting back into it
They had trouble getting back into music after that, as well unfortunately. They've been dormant for quite some time.
With obedient trust as a babe in the womb And impeccably chaste as a priest in the tomb With a Deadwood map and a dynamite hat I'll come back to Idaho soon Harmless as a Danish cartoon
These guys killed it in buffalo last night, crowd loved em. im not as familiar with the older stuff but it always sounds so good live.
Yeah, I appreciate a to b life more every time I see them live. It's still weird to me that that album is mostly power chords cause honestly they get some weird sounds imo. Sounds like pink Floyd at times
