BS=CFUTF>PH>TS>Crazy>AB but love them all like children yes they're even brownish with a hint of green
I know, I know, rankings are arbitrary and often don't stimulate conversation However B,S Ten Stories Pale Horses CFUTF Its All Crazy! AB
My Exit, Unfair has gone from being one of my least favourites on CFUTF to being tied with Nice and Blue 2 for my fav mwY song.
After finally listening to AB in preparation for the show I went to, I think it's... not very good. Silencer is a great song, Bullet To Binary is decent, and everything else ranges from aggressively meh to just plain bad. I recognize that it's an important part of their history, but I don't see it as a record I am inclined to return to much if at all in the future.
Yeah, other than Bullet to Binary and Nice & Blue I never return to A -> B. Only mewithoutYou album I don't absolutely adore.
Whaaat. Gentlemen is awesome, We Know Who Our Enemies Are is great, and The Cure for Pain is a great closer. A, B, Everything was Beautiful, Be Still Child, and I Never Said are ok, but they're still good songs on their own.
Gentlemen got me into the band and it's still one of my favorites of theirs. I'm not so into AB besides that but it's cool that they're playing songs off it, seems like they had avoided that album for a while at their shows.
Yeah, I also like AB the more I revisit it, but that doesn't and will never change that it's just not as good as the rest of their discography. also Smiths references where???
"You at 32 still tied to your poor mothers apron strings" is a reference to The Queen Is Deads title track. "My faith in love is still devout" is a direct reference to "Rusholme Ruffians" The Ferris wheel line is also a semi reference
Faith in love is still devout is from Rusholme Ruffians which is a fantastic song. I love The Smiths.
