I saw them too many times from 2005 through the Pale Horses era, at times at a festival or opening for someone else, to remember how many times I saw them or what songs I’ve seen. (I realize now this sounds like a brag, lol, but that’s not my intent.)

Highlights include the Purple Door festival in 2006 (with a big epic “In a Sweater Poorly Knit” performance), and the shocking amount of energy they had on the [A->B] Life anniversary tour. Also, they were so good during Pale Horses; bummed I missed out on the [Untitled] era and farewell. (That last couple album stretch truly was the band’s peak.) Worst was a show I saw around the it’s all crazy! era, when their hearts didn’t seem into it at all; I presume this was roughly when they were kinda breaking up or whatever the deal was.

I never got to see them and that is one of my biggest musical regrets

i certainly didn’t remember all the sets haha. It took a lot of research. Would love to see those numbers since you got to see them in the early years!

So I've heard everything from CFUTF, Brother Sister, and Ten Stories at least once, save for "Sun & Moon" off Brother, Sister. This exercise has made me feel even more grateful for this band, their music, and these experiences.

This is awesome. Because of their history of forever tinkering with the setlist this is a band I would be compelled to do this with.

it's probably very similar to your list, just framed differently. i used to keep a running list of songs i was missing and would cross them off whenever i eventually saw them. was really hoping to see them all!

  13. I only saw them four times so my list would not be impressive, but I will say that the performance of "In a Sweater Poorly Knit" from Cornerstone 2009 has lived in my head for over 15 years as one of the great live music experiences of my life.

I am almost positive from memory that they did angle of death at the first show and at the Grimey’s in store they did several of the untitled EP songs too but I didn’t add them because I can’t confirm it
