I saw them too many times from 2005 through the Pale Horses era, at times at a festival or opening for someone else, to remember how many times I saw them or what songs I’ve seen. (I realize now this sounds like a brag, lol, but that’s not my intent.) Highlights include the Purple Door festival in 2006 (with a big epic “In a Sweater Poorly Knit” performance), and the shocking amount of energy they had on the [A->B] Life anniversary tour. Also, they were so good during Pale Horses; bummed I missed out on the [Untitled] era and farewell. (That last couple album stretch truly was the band’s peak.) Worst was a show I saw around the it’s all crazy! era, when their hearts didn’t seem into it at all; I presume this was roughly when they were kinda breaking up or whatever the deal was.
i certainly didn’t remember all the sets haha. It took a lot of research. Would love to see those numbers since you got to see them in the early years!
I only saw them live (in person) four times, but I'll take any opportunity to engage with this band in interesting ways: A-B Gentlemen x2 Nice and Blue Catch Torches Together January 1979 x2 Leaf x2 Paper Hanger x2 Seven Sisters The Soviet x2 My Exit, Unfair Four Word Letter (Pt. This exercise has made me feel even more grateful for this band, their music, and these experiences.
This is awesome. Because of their history of forever tinkering with the setlist this is a band I would be compelled to do this with.
Saw them 18 times. Songs I did NOT see: it's all crazy Fig with a Bellyache Ten Stories Fiji Mermaid Four Fires Pale Horses Lilac Queen Birnam Wood Untitled dormouse sighs Winter Solstice Michael Row Your Boat Ashore (never played) Break on Through Pt.2 untitled EP Dirty Air / Cities of the Plain / Existential Dread (never played) August 6th Kristy w the Sparkling Teeth I never saw them after covid so I missed out on the untitled era the most
it's probably very similar to your list, just framed differently. i used to keep a running list of songs i was missing and would cross them off whenever i eventually saw them. was really hoping to see them all!
I only saw them four times so my list would not be impressive, but I will say that the performance of "In a Sweater Poorly Knit" from Cornerstone 2009 has lived in my head for over 15 years as one of the great live music experiences of my life.

I am almost positive from memory that they did angle of death at the first show and at the Grimey’s in store they did several of the untitled EP songs too but I didn’t add them because I can’t confirm it
looks like you got 3 of the untitled ones, no Angel of Death, though https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/mewithoutyou/2018/grimeys-nashville-tn-b97cd0e.html

I saw them 3 times. I can't tell you the dates all between 2007-2009. I saw them headline in a tiny club in Tampa where Maps and Atlases opened for them. I saw them in St Pete where I think they played with Murder By Death I saw them at the same venue in St Pete where they opened for Say Anything
Forgot about these tours (forgot Murder By Death was even a thing). Saw both of them in Pittsburgh. Definitely left like 2-3 songs into Say Anything, lol.
I just remember the show in saw them at the tiny venue in Tampa the keyboardist from Underoath was there hanging out, it being Tampa and all.
I saw a few shows in Tampa when I lived in Florida and spotted Chris a couple of tomes times. Just hanging out supporting his buds.
