no deluxe bundle is weird. you have to order the vinyl and the bundle separately which is $10 more than Vol One...
yeah i saw that afterwards. also mike said they broke it up to make inventory easier to deal with which makes sense. apparently they undercharged for Vol. One so I'm fine with it.
Only got to play through this one once, but holy shit this is good. I enjoy the mystery set list thing, so I won’t spoil anything, but there’s some deep cuts in here including the song I thought was least likely to pop up from their entire discography.
missing this by not being able to go to Atlanta destroyed my soul and was the straw that led to me flying to NYC for that show
Website says it comes with a pre-order of “any copy” so I assume that means all formats, including digital.
Yep, can confirm I just bought digital and you can download immediately. (can’t afford US to UK shipping these days)
I need to set a reminder as the time zones mean I only remember in the afternoon when someone inevitably posts in here.
What's really incredible is not only how great these two live albums have been, but also just how many incredible songs are available for Volume 3
The Cure for Pain Torches Together My Exit, Unfair Four Word Letter (Pt. Two) Wolf Am I! (and Shadow) A Glass Can Only Spill What It Contains In a Sweater Poorly Knit The Fox, the Crow and the Cookie The Angel of Death Came to David's Room Goodbye, I! The King Beetle on a Coconut Estate Allah, Allah, Allah Bear's Vision of St. Agnes Mexican War Streets Rainbow Signs Another Head for Hydra Flee, Thou Matadors! New Wine, New Skins, Michael, Row Your Boat Ashore Are the ones I think will be on Live (vol. Three) In a Sweater Poorly Knit will absolutely be the final song though.
They never played Michael live, but the rest are pretty good guesses. Hoping for a Cattail Down but they didn't play it much in the later years. Something off the EP maybe? Bethlehem or August 6th? I'm sure they'll add something cool we're not thinking of as well (ex. Hayley on Foxes, Messes of Memphis, Julian/Widow medley, Cemetery etc) Flamethrower would be neat & unexpected. Wonder if they use the last show "Sweater"
Bethlehem was on Two Definitely doing the last Sweater. Forgot Michael was never played lived, song is too good to get the snub. I think even Fig got a play once, right?
