Went down the rabbit hole last night and found the final show recording on YouTube. The solo performance of Cardiff giant gives me chills every time.

 

Wife and I were watching select songs from those the other night, just gently sobbing the entire time lol

 

MWY forever opening the flood gates. There’s no band even remotely like them.

 

I was still holding out hope that they released some sort of recording of the final shows. I watched it multiple times on Veeps before it expired and would happily purchase it.

 

you never know, mike almquist could be working on a teaser for it as we speak

 

Yeah I’m genuinely surprised they haven’t done this. Would love to own it in some form.

 

I think they're just waiting a bit to announce it, it's one of the last big things they could do besides the eventual [Untitled] Collector's Edition (can't believe I'm going to own two different box sets for that record but I couldn't think of a better band for that to happen with).

But if for some reason Mike doesn't have this in the pipeline... c'mon man!

 

Wow. Had no idea scogin came out and did Memphis with them. So incredibly rad.

I just watched that on Instagram and immediately came to check this thread.

 

It’ll probably either be an Untitled deluxe vinyl or release of the farewell shows. Wouldn’t get too excited.

 

Whatever it is, I am most definitely excited about it.

 

I'm gonna go with some sort of live video release based on basically nothing. Excited to find out, regardless!
