Woke up at 4am to find out my flight had been canceled (was getting into La Guardia at 10:15 this morning for tonight’s show in Manhattan) and the airline rescheduled me to land after the concert had ended tonight. Was able to get the last seat on a different flight, but now I’m getting into JFK at 5pm and I’m insanely nervous I won’t make it since I gotta get to the UWS first. This is the whole reason I’m flying up there.

I’m boarding my flight to JFK now and my friend is meeting me at the venue to get my suitcase, so I’m starting to Believe like Ted Lasso

Well that was worth every single hiccup today.

 

Set was great, never seen them headline and I’m mad this is my first and last time doing so. I may have had an out of body experience during O’Porcupine with the Yellow Spider interlude. Good meeting you Garrett!

According to Setlist.fm, they have not.

Can't wait to see what obscure stuff they break out for the final two shows.

 

Trying to figure out how to write about this concert/this band/this farewell isn't easy. Anything you'd want to see in that sort of concert/band review?

Not so humorously, my flights home were also actually messed up even worse to the point I had to fly home a different airline or miss a day at work that I couldn't miss.

 

lol I already tried to write a retrospective of the band but it ended up being way too personal and probably not something anyone would want to read. But you're probably a better writer than I am, so I'm sure whatever you come up with will be great.
