"The End of The End screen-printed poster – Available now for pre-order when you purchase your livestream tickets at http://mewithoutYou.veeps.com. A limited-number will also be made available at the band’s final “Farewell” shows at the Philadelphia Fillmore on August 19th and 20th. Beautifully illustrated by @nicholasmoegly, this highly-detailed silkscreen print depicts the birthplace of mewithoutYou; the basement of a barber shop in Upper Darby doubling as the family home of the Mazzotta’s. From “Rick’s Place” grew a musical career that spanned over 21 years with 7 albums, 3 EPs, and countless live performances. Scattered throughout the print there are several references and Easter eggs to the band’s history (some obvious and some more intimate)."
I really love this poster. I remember Aaron mentioning Rick's Place during that one outdoor Fox, Crow, Cookie video but I didn't realize it had such history with the band. Also I'm sure Mike Almquist will still find reasons to make more promos haha
Glad I ordered that poster on faith when I got my livestream tickets yesterday. Could barely make out the thumbnail!
Lil update, managed to find tickets to the final show that weren't obscenely expensive, so now I'm going to both! There's gonna be...a lot of emotions.
I’m absolutely exhausted after coming back vacation today but I caught them in Kalamazoo and I’m glad I did. They meant so much to me for so long and this show kind of like the end of a chapter, in a weird way. Very thankful.
Rocking a mwY shirt tonight and Seeing them Sunday night just in case I don’t make it to Philly next month, can’t wait
saw video of Timbre accompanying Widow, assuming she played her part on Sweater, too. they’re really pulling all the stops out for these last few shows.
It blows my mind they're over 80 songs (not including Memphis) and they all sound better than ever. How many bands can claim half that many?
that was from nashville earlier in the tour, i believe no harp in ohio last night. just about the only thing missing
