I’ve been listening to CFUTF at the gym this morning and I’m having the best workout I’ve had in months. Keep finding myself dancing between sets. The grooves and rhythm on this album are flawless.

Band is great for workouts. I’ve had some of the best runs listening to Pale Horses

 

also caught a guy at a show last night for another band that was wearing a mwY shirt & we chatted for 15 mins about how great they are. Dude was in his late 50’s & had seen mwY 2x already on the farewell tour & had plans to catch them 2x more. Goals

unfortunately not. columbus and pittsburgh for “local” (aka i’ll just drive home to cleveland after those) and the two philly shows

 

looking for a copy of Catch for us the foxes on vinyl but dont want to spend the $75 for the deluxe on the website. preferably 2xLP.

Anything out there?

 

If you really want a copy you might as well bite the bullet and spend the $75. CFUTF was a rare pressing even before they did the deluxe box set and copies go for $100 or more.

 

It's the one record I own that I would never sell.

 

Got my work bonus finally, so the wife and I decided we couldn't possibly have the Chicago date be the last time we see this band, so we splurged and are going to Philadelphia!

That being said, we only managed to get tickets for day 1, because oooof is it impossible to find anything for the final day that's under $250 a piece. If anyone, uh, has any Intel on someone trying to part ways with tix, hit me up I guess?

Also, Philly peeps wanna give me the scoop on what to do around town for fun? Probably only gonna be out there Friday morning to maybe Sunday night.

 

So I waited on Dillinger Escape Plan tickets until the day of the show and the prices absolutely tanked. Went from $200+ to $15 day of. If you are planning on staying in the city, won't hurt to refresh stubhub throughout the day.

I'm going to be an absolute wreck after that final show.

 

Gonna cry in public on Sunday when I see them in person for the last time, then twice in my living room while I watch the livestreams.

 

Glad they’re streaming it. Only question is if I stay up (1am start UK time!)

 

So that would be 2AM over here, which is exactly when I usually lay down to listen to some music, perfect ;d ;d (my sleeping pattern is fucked).

As amazing as that would be, I hope it's not. It would end up being the lead story on every music website and completely overshadow mwY. They deserve to be the focus of their last shows
