Just happened to listen to a recent BC Podcast and Matt Carter from Emery said that they took the Labeled camera crew to a recent mewithoutYou show. He said the plan was to hand the footage over to mewithoutYou for them to use rather than release through Labeled (like the Beloved show from last year if you are familiar with that). He also said it was a multicam operation. I know we know they’ve been capturing audio but good to know that there’s some high quality video that could be released too. Not sure which show it was - Matt Carter is based in Seattle.
Just pulled the trigger on a long weekend in NYC to see them at Irving Plaza since I couldn’t make anything closer work and I had expiring airline miles and a free place to stay. Will you be there @Henry?
The fact the initial plan for this was to see the show here or Boston and then immediately fly to Iceland the next day suddenly hurts even more. Second favorite place on earth. I hope you love it! Highly recommend making a reservation and working this place into your Golden Circle day.
Scogin came out in Atlanta tonight and they did Aaron’s part of Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste. Something i never thought I would see.
So cool that they did that. "Memphis" absolutely rules. Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child turns 20 in a couple months, which is absolutely wild to me (though I personally first heard it in '05).
Been blaring that record for nearly 20 years myself. Can’t wait to finally be able to spin in on vinyl.
On an album full of career highlights….Rainbow Signs is just a heart stopper everytime. I never got to see them live
Nashville got Memphis of Men (with Scogin) and Timbre Cierpke playing harp on Sweater & Son of a Widow
