If I had to rank them. But honestly, this band is just so special and incredible and the fan differences on what they prefer is one of the best parts. They had such a varied and interesting career. Also, great collection of b-sides, I think Fairfield is the only one I don't actively enjoy. Pale Horses Ten Stories [Untitled] Brother, Sister It's All Crazy Catch for Us the Foxes [A --> B] Life
Foxes is probably my least favorite of the albums I’ve well versed in (i’ve only listened to AB twice and never heard Crazy), but that’s 10000% a testament to how absolutely insane the rest of their catalogue is.
Brother, Sister Pale Horses - It’s All Crazy Untitled Ten Stories - Foxes All are an 8/10 and higher for me. Not gonna rate AB Life cuz it’s not my kinda album and i don’t think I’ve ever made it all the way through.
It would be my fav if not for PH! Pale Horses It’s All Crazy Brother, Sister Ten Stories Untitled Foxes Ab Life
Foxes Pale Horses Brother, Sister AB Life Untitled Ten Stories It's All Crazy Thing is, sometimes I LOVE It's All Crazy, but I have to be in the right mood for it.
Generally my favorite record is whichever one of Foxes, BS, or Pale Horses that I've listened to most recently.
Catch for Us the Foxes is in the conversation for my favorite album of all time. Such a special collection of songs. Pale Horses isn't far behind, but the sentimental factor is too strong for Foxes to fall. Only album of their I couldn't possibly imagine myself revisiting in its entirety is it's all crazy!, which still has a couple gems (the opener and closer) and a bunch of stuff that's fine. It's just... missing that spark. [A->B] is notably less mature than the rest, but it still works on raw vibes.
I got real into AB this year. The pure emotion on it vocally is just too much to deny. I underrated it for years.
phoenix show must have popped off immediately opening with mexican war streets favorite mwy live moment ever is probably a few years ago in akron where aaron just looked possessed by the energy of the song and just dove into the crowd out of no where
I remember the first time I heard Bullet to Binary on mp3.com. as soon as I heard the French part, I was hooked.
I don't know if I've ever been able to make it through It's All Crazy in one sitting. Even when I start it with the intent to finally make it through.
seeing them play that track for the first time in Pittsburgh (where the Mexican war streets are) is on my list of top 10 all-time concert moments for me
Ranking their albums is really hard. It always depends on what mood I'm in or which album I was listening to recently. At this moment it's probably this: Pale Horses Brother, Sister Catch For Us the Foxes Ten Stories Untitled A-B Life It's All Crazy
This is probably my ranking too, but I love those top five albums to death - any ranking of them will suffice! A-B is great but Catch is phenomenal. Still can’t get into It’s All Crazy bar a few tracks
Huge set list! Makes me laugh that they emphasised ‘partial’ for Fig With A Bellyache. Was that dog beneath the waist only partially aroused guys??
