very upset today because the only chance for my wife and I to travel this summer will overlap with the final night of the tour in Philly, so I have to sell those tickets... I'll try to catch a New York show, but catching that very-last-one would have been special.
I am sorry to hear you have to miss the final show. That’s such a bummer. For what it’s worth, I am definitely interested in one (or possibly both) of those tickets
Last night in LA was great, almost shed a tear a couple times. This band is amazing. Aarons demeanor is quite charming. It was nice to hear him share a bit of how his family was associated with Hayley Williams family. I believe he also mentioned officiating ownership of a house he bought from Hayley’s family yesterday, if I’m not mistaken. Just all around happy for his family and the rest of the band.
I like foxes a lot but it is on the lower end of their (absolutely stellar, any band wish they could have) discography for me.
I think for me its a production thing. I've been listening to them since 2002 but those albums tend to be my least played overall. I really only listen to the songs when they come on shuffle.
I didn't mean that in a negative way, I love what they did after a ton and they continued to be one of the most interesting and enjoyable bands out there. I'm sad they're not going to be making any more music, I just think those two are the best example of everything they do.
just being cheeky cus pale horses and untitled are—along with brother sister— a tier above foxes (which is still an easy 9 at worst) for me
yeah they're both really great too, the lyrics just connect a lot more with me on Foxes and it's the only album of theirs where I love every song.
