When was this? I've only seen them live twice and they killed each time. The last time I saw them was probably close to ten years ago haha.

 

This was maybe two years ago.

 

They crushed it in Memphis on the untitled tour, but did seem tired. It gave the performance a great tension, imo. Like they were pushing themselves.

i can also imagine how being in your 40s and playing these songs and traveling to dozens of cities would be really hard to do lol

 

Didn't Thrice get sick on that tour, too?

 

Oh, incredibly. On the Chicago date, Dustin practically couldn't even sing, it was rough.

 

yeah, both bands were battling sickness on the Vheissu tour, which was late Jan into Feb 2020

 

I saw them with Thrice and the drummer was so
Sick that he couldn’t play. They did an acoustic set of sorts

 

Went ahead and grabbed tix for both Philly nights, guess I’ll make a weekend out of it. Can’t think of a better experience/band to be my first show since Covid.

 

I’m flying solo for both shows. Would love to meet some Chorus peeps but only if it’s by us doing the “secret” chorus hand signal & finding each other randomly.

spoiler: the hand signal is just you making a letter c with your right hand & I just made it up

 

It's All Crazy.. is sounding realllly good on vinyl today. I'm so glad they have a folky, whimsical album like this in their catalogue. That being said, there really is a lot of punch in it too, especially the last two songs.

 

I am really looking forward to the show more and more (8/14)

watching the A->B doc, fun to see them bring out the fancy outfits again for the hometown show.

 

My It’s All Crazy deluxe just shipped! Guess they’re getting to the second half of the orders.

 

Think this is the first half of the collector's editions, the audiophile black ones. Got my notice as well, though just label creation so far. Excited for this one, love the design they went with.

 

Sorry I meant collectors. Mine is the pink & blue variant & it should arrive tomorrow by USPS.

 

Was there something wrong with the Uk version of the collectors edition? I got a notice that there is something shipping but I have no idea what it is. Do know customs is charging me €18. Frustrating since I've already paid like €25 extra when the record came in...

 

Best guess is it's the bellyband. Those didn't arrive with the rest of the materials but the ones sold via the UK store went out without them, whereas the ones from the US store were held back so they could be shipped properly. €18 is a lot for a bit of cardboard though!

 

I got the collectors version, color variant, should be arriving today!

 

My record has the bellyband included, so that will not be the problem. I've emailed Awesome Distro for some help.

 

Anyone else find it funny that it's actually called a bellyband? Mine had the replacement sent with it too.

 

Also, The King Beetle really shines on vinyl.
