I remember that tour (the first time i saw them) and they looked so tense. Felt like they could break up at any moment. Still, i think the album is deeply warm and incredibly personal and sad at certain points. To me, it’s a top 3 mwY record and i love the role it serves in their catalogue.
They're aren't any unheard songs but they do have demo versions of a lot of stuff starting around the Crazy era IIRC. Would be neat if some of that was included
I assumed these clips were isolated tracks, with the tempos changed. Saw someone on their Reddit page confirm that too, but I don’t have the ear to say one way or the other!
anybody interested in the non-deluxe variant in Osage? I had to buy it to get the shirt and I'm not interested in the vinyl or the goodies. just wanted the shirt.
So this time I will wait for the European store to sell it. It's hard to have patience. Hopefully they will also sell the shirt, looks nice.
Here you go: It’s All Crazy! It’s All False! It’s All a Dream! It’s Alright - Collector’s Edition No shirt though :(
This package looks stunning, somehow they keep managing to up the aesthetics while keeping the base elements the same. Had to go for the bundle pack this time around for that shirt, even though it's probably doubles the cost when shipping and exchange rate get factored in. Didn't occur to me the "It's all over!" text in the teaser videos might imply this is going to be the last collector's edition...at least for awhile. Not sure if that's going to be the case, but I guess it makes sense since every other album has gotten a more recent repress I think.
This has made me listen to It's All Crazy.. all morning. And my morning has big significantly better than it would have been otherwise.
It’s true because few lines have pierced as much as some of the humdingers on that release. Exhibit A: Is this truly how you’d choose to live, managing the narrative?
I know they’re not gone yet, but I already miss them and constantly think about how things will work out with their farewell plans.
