wish i had bought the standard red/white splatter variant before it sold out i got the deluxe edition tho, but i wanna have a deluxe and standard of their records
I received my vinyl copy this week. The white sleeve does not fit in the sleeve with the artwork. This frustrated me a bit...
Did you listen to the Labeled podcast episodes? The interview with Josh did give me some hope... I’d love to hear what they sound like in 2020.
I got the cinnamon red, and it has more pops than any other record I own. I actually ended up ordering a black copy because my red sounds that bad.
mine was very very staticky. i might need to put it in a different sleeve to help fix that, i’m also getting a new record brush this week which will hopefully also help
It’s so weird to me that the only mwY song available on the digital jukebox at this bar I go to is Julian the Onion
a few cleanings helped a lot although it didn't completely fix everything. I also put it in an anti-static sleeve for a minute which I have no idea if that helps but I also am getting a bunch of these so maybe when I move it into one of those permanently it will help lol. I don't think it's really dirty or damaged I think it's just really staticky, like the most staticky. On top of that it's oddly quiet, but I mean it sounds normal at a high volume besides the pops and crackles. anyway thanks for joining me on this journey to make this sound good lol I know it can
Also, it wouldn’t be a mewithoutYou limited collector release without some delay along the way would it?! Haha! Isn’t it brilliant that that is due to their diligence in providing brilliant products? Going to miss them.
Same as before, I’m bummed but totally understand and appreciate the dedication. Can’t wait to get it!
Just noticed that their upcoming show here in Pittsburgh starts at 5:30PM. As an elder, this pleases me.
I’ve said it a thousand (x1,000) times but it blows my mind that some mewithoutYou fans don’t like it’s all crazy... Every single time I listen to it, a music or lyrical moment blows me away in every song, often making me get choked up. Shit is incredible.
