I had a dream that they released two more items: one was a book that was filled with mewithoutYou history for the past twenty years. Just a biography of sorts and had a big section with references for all their lyrics and whatnot. The other was an album and it had brown and light tan colored artwork. But the cool part about it was that when you ordered it, you would include a picture of your face in a specific pose so they could print a part of it and slide it into the vinyl set so the cover was their art but with your own eyes included in it, pretty bad ass.
I’m seeing them with Thrice in February, but I haven’t heard any of their music. I’m about to listen to it all though. Here we go.
theyre awesome live. Catch for us the Foxes and Brother,Sister are their two best albums IMO, but their most recent 3 albums are really good as well
The band's manager said on Twitter that Aaron doesn't care for Carousels, and that he sort of phoned in the lyrics because it was a last-minute addition to the album. Still a great song.
This is completely unrelated but I used to listen to that Beloved record obsessively in college. Definitely gonna revisit tonight.
I'm worried the Beloved reunion won't actually get that much mileage outside of that festival reunion & a few one off shows, but I'd love new music from them. As Cities Burn finally made it happen, as have other bands here & there, so I'm certainly hopeful. "Death to Traitors" is such a great song. And, The Running EP is an underappreciated, raw little collection of songs.
