one of my favorite moments from this band is on Glass Can Only Spill, as Aaron sings "Like the peacocks wandering the walkways of the zoo, who have twice the autonomy the giraffes and tigers do/saying 'NO ONE CAN STOP ME, NO ONE CAN STOP ME. No one clips my claws! Now EVERYONE WATCH ME EVERYONE WATCH ME scale these outside walls!" i love shouting that line in the car
On his second appearance on The Wandering Wolf podcast, he mentions a lesson he learned from his guru a long time ago that "a man can only give you what he has" and it instantly made me think that's where he came up with "a glass can only spill what it contains." That's a great line/song.

Been revisiting PH, and it's giving Catch a run for it's money for my fav mwY album. The lyrics are so good. Esp on Blue Hen and Watermelon Ascot. It's interesting how when it first came out a lot of the lyrical-discussion/interpretation was steering towards apocalypse/end of days. I feel the album has a message of re living or reminiscing about your youth. Particularly on Dorothy, Blue Hen, MLD, and Rainbow Signs.
I went on a walk tonight and listened to Pale Horses. Such a phenomenal record. It's probably my 2nd favorite after Brother, Sister.
