I've always seen Cursive and mwY as contemporaries, even though Cursive broke up and reunited a few times before mwY released a record haha. mwY took a harder detour on it's all crazy!... than Cursive have ever done but I definitely think they're as consistent as each other. You're gonna have a blast.

I like it when bands preempt the inevitable "day or two before release" leaks with a stream.

 

I'm really hoping for a pre-release week download for pre-orderers on Friday.

has that ever happened before? i don't think i've ever gotten a preorder download before the actual release date. obviously would be awesome but i can't imagine it happening

 

That would be nice, especially since the vinyl is still 3 months away for me.

 

I think with the recent fit for a king album they sent out downloads a week early to those who pre-ordered. Might have had to do with it leaking but I'm not sure.

 

They did it for both Ten Stories and Pale Horses.

I went back into my email and checked. May have misspoke about Ten Stories, but definitely got Pale Horses before the release date. Got the link on the 11th, five days before release.
