I've been familiar with Aaron Weiss' guest spots on various bands such as Norma Jean, Paramore, Forgive Durden, Say Anything for long years. I don't remember anyone else at the moment but it's funny how aware I am of their legacy, yet I don't know anything about their own music. In my mind, I imagine something more or less similar to Cursive, like a mix of post-hardcore and indie rock, but I do know that they start getting folk-y at some point. How they do it all is something that I will discover, and it excites me a lot!
Going in chronological order is such a good idea. I don't know another band whose sound progresses so seamlessly from one album to another. Every record is so different, but each one is perfectly connected to the next. They could be a case study for how a band should progress and evolve throughout their career. Man. Have fun.
Like every great piece of art, I would LOVE to erase my mind momentarily and experience it all again.
Missed this post, but just want to confirm with you that I am very very down with TOP on the 5th. Two of my most anticipated of the year.
went ahead and bought my ticket for the dallas show today bc i couldn't chance sleeping on that lineup in a tiny venue and missing out.
Everything in this band’s discography is full powered greatness on par with even the might matching that of a Saiyan! There are no Krillins or Yamchas in this band’s discog.
