Wait, is the LP going to be untitled as well? Did I miss something? Just realized I've never listened to the Pale Horses appendix. It's like getting TWO mwY EPs in one day!!
If I had to guess, I'd say it goes back to Aarons doubt in the abilities of language to convey the thoughts and emotions hes wants (he talked about this in interviews for Pale Horses) Same with turning his vocals down in the mix.
Does anyone have a lossless copy of the remastered I Never Said That I Was Brave EP they could send me? The link I got from Mike after I ordered the vinyl has long since expired and I'd love to have that back in my collection. Also holy shit I hope they take better care of their orders because when I ordered INSTIWB with a copy of it's all crazy! on vinyl, the EP turned up with the front cover fucking RUINED.
I did but I ended up never sending it back because honestly it looked pretty cool with just the sticker and the plastic sleeve.
Skimming through this thread, I saw someone compare the EP to it's all crazy!, which, boo. With the great stretch they've been after that album, though, I'm still pumped. Hope to get one good listen tonight before going to bed.
Love how prolific this band has been since ten stories, I remember in the years after "it's all crazy" how uncertain the band was of new material and continuing. Really glad they persevered and have been outdoing themselves every time.
Probably the odd man out, but my least favorite mwY album would be Foxes, while It's All Crazy! is comfortably near the top. Weird Sunday school vibes but dammit, it's great.
Agree with half of this tbh - Foxes starts and ends so damn well, but the middle is a big dip for me. The only stretch in their discography that I find uninteresting
I like to throw Spotify on my PS4 while I write because my laptop's speakers are hot garbage but this damn EP isn't up yet, nor is Coheed's new jam. Life is tough
You sound like my kind of person! I put on The Albatross and now I'm in Foxing's Audiotree session which is just fantastic. Why are there not more great bands doing rad audiotree sessions? I have not seen it make an artist look bad yet.
