I'm sure I've heard of sludge before but I have no clue what that would sound like. I don't pay attention to genre names anymore.

 

last nights was weird. all of a sudden i lived in philly and mwY played the same local venue every night and i was stoked. i stumbled upon it my first night in the city. i walked into this venue and they were playing Red Cow.

 

ok what are yall drinking to bring all these dreams about

I dream vividly almost every night. My dream journal has 250+ entries over the past ~2 years.

 

so envious, i rarely ever remember my dreams

I’m not. I was living in France for some reason. I went to go see Thrice play. For some reason Thrice didn’t play but then outside the venue Aaron Weiss was playing on the street. So i was like screw Thrice! And then the whole band was jamming on the street in Paris and it was such a wild show.

I still can't stop listening to "Julia." Is this going to ruin the song in the context of the album?

 

YES. i've ruined it. i'm bummed. but i can't stop.

 

I've listened twice and that's gonna be it for me. Already don't remember what it sounds like.

 

I don't get the "ruined" thing. We've been listening to Catch for Us the Foxes for 14 years and it's not ruined.

 

It's not that the song is ruined. It's jusy that when I overplay a single, it's not really exciting to hear that song when I'm first listening to the album as a whole. Over time that feeling fades, but it does diminish the excitement of listening to the album at first for me.

 

yeah, at this point the release is still over a month away and i've listened to julia probably 50+ times. definitely going to be skipping it on my first run through the album which sucks but i have no self control

 

I missed the dream part and thought this actually happened haha. I could see that really happening.

 

Lol, come on! Don't skip it, let it flow through as intended at least on your initial listen.
