I had the same shipping cost error with my order. I just paid the difference cause I was expecting to pay around $100 anyway. Deterred me from getting the bundle version which is unfortunate, but all I really wanted from that were the album art prints.

 

I'd love if someone produced a full art book of Ten Stories with the stories in sequential order.

Yeah, Aubergine is pretty skippable imo. I mean, it’s a very pleasant song and I don’t dislike it at all but I’d rather not have be in a live setlist. Feels like a waste of slot.

"aubergine" is incredible, ten stories would be a lesser album without it

 

i like that it breaks up the concept by going hardcore non-concept, it's a breath of fresh air in the sequence

 

and part of the reason i love ten stories is that it's a story that seems to always be running up against its own limits (conversations that spill into what seem to be lyrics about aaron and none of the animals, etc.)

 

"fig with a bellyache" is fuckin good btw

 

I think Aubergine works in the context of the album 100%. It’s just not a song I really go out of my way to listen to

 

I'm gonna get the eggplant emoji tattooed to represent my love for that song.
