IAC is my least favorite album of theirs, but the album art for the vinyl release is spectacular.

 

Almquist is posting a whole bunch of cool tidbits about the collector's edition today:

 

Somebody definitely needs to do a documentary about this band before all is said and done. Or at least a book.

 

You know they are going to do this you say?

 

Almquist has also said in all likelihood mewithoutYou will play their final show a year today...

 

what are the chances they break up and end up getting back together at some point

Yeah they said they are going to be doing the tour with Thrice, tour Brother Sister in the spring, go overseas, then do a farewell tour in the fall.

 

That is excellent news

 

New imagery, fonts they’ve never used before, sounds they’ve never used before, etc... hmm. Very odd coming from them after everything going on.

 

I had no idea they had I Never Said That I Was Brave on cassette, lol.

 

bet I like mwY more than you...

 

They were mine for the decade as well, which is super impressive to me, seeing as I didn't even get into them until Pale Horses.

haha on "dreamo". I learned that i like a new genre of music too...whatever stomp & hollar is.

 

Is that like those bands that do a lot of stomp-claps and yell "Hey!"? Like the Lumineers?
