My dumb ass was groggy from an alarm to wake up to buy this, ordered black first because I thought it was the only 180g option ('Audiophile Black' is a confusing name!) then ordered the Red & White after reading again. Not sure if I can cancel the black order or have to sell it off.
Ha, I had that purple shirt w/ the tree back in the day. Seeing the CD makes me super nostalgic, too; man, that whole white & red aesthetic was so sharp.
I remember loving their promo pictures leading up to this release. All of them on a beach playing around and then one of them with graffiti on the wall. Had a double-sides poster hanging from my ceiling in my room at the time. I got it laminated, haha
I really wanted the collectors edition, but with Christmas coming up, I couldn't spare the extra cash. I'm surprised that I was barely awake and still made such a rational choice. Got the standard orange though and im just incredibly happy to finally have this on vinyl.
Went with the cinnamon red because it looks so good alongside the album art. Collector’s edition would have been really cool if I hadn’t already dropped $100 on vinyl alone recently.
I also chose that version for similar reasons. The CE is nice, but I only have standard editions of all their others, and it's probably going to be a pain pulling the LPs out to play.
I know they’re doing a Brother, Sister tour in 2020. Any chance of a repress for that? I already own a copy, but I would potentially upgrade if it was a really cool variant.
I’m still sad I never ordered the deluxe untitled vinyl I own B,S but if they repress it like this I’ll have to get it for sure
If anyone is looking for a mewithoutYou Ten Stories deluxe, I have one that's pretty much as good as new (opened once, never played).
If they do a Brother, Sister deluxe repress it'll be the fourth time I've bought that record. And I'll be delighted to do it.
I would be surprised if they don't do a B,S and maybe a IAC repress as well. I think they're trying to get their whole catalog as stocked as possible before they call it quits
