I can't wait for this next run of shows. I haven't seen them play any of the untitled songs live.

 

Def gonna catch the farewell tour and brother sister tours. Love this band, so glad they’re ending in such a graceful way.

 

Is there a better 3 song run than Wendy and Betsy > New Wine, New Skins > Michael, Row Your Boat Ashore?

 

Maybe D-Minor>Mexican War Streets>Red Cow.

Their discography is one giant perfect three song run seamlessly repeated.

except 2,459 Miles has that mandatory lead-up to W&B

 

Yeah I was thinking that. Kind of consider them paired together. Wouldn't often listen to one without the other.

So, unless they do full album shows for the farewell tour or something changes, no one will have ever heard Fig w/ a Bellyache or Michael, Row Your Boat Ashore live

 

I thought they did ‘Michael’ at one of the Dallas shows over the past year, is my memory wrong?

also, I’d love to see Fig live. Love that song.

 

I don't think they've played Michael yet, but it looks like they've played Fig a few times. They definitely haven't played most of the untitled ep yet

 

they played a good amount of the ep at their in-store performances during the untitled tour.

 

I think they only did 2 in-store performances and they played August 6th and Bethlehem (plus the only appearances of Break on Through pt 2). Still no record of them ever playing played Dirty Air, Cities of the Plain, Existential Dread, or Kristy

oh damn, okay so twice then. i remember almquist saying on twitter they can't get it to sound passable live and won't play it so i assumed they never did. i wonder if there's footage out there of those shows??

 

If I went to their farewell tour & had to endure "Fig" as one of their song choices, I'd be so annoyed, lol.

 

I feel that way about anything off of AB so we should probably just not get into it lol

 

Wouldn't be surprised if it is MWY returning home for one final release or a bunch of special edition rereleases

 

Is this the label they started with for their first release?
