I am sad, but glad I’ve gotten to see them as many times as I have. Wish I enjoyed Untitled more if that ends up being their last album, but it’s still a solid end to a stellar discography.
I can’t explain it, but this doesn’t make me sad? Perhaps it’s because we’ve all been waiting for it, but also they have had an incredible run and deserve to hang it up on their terms. I’ve loved being a fan of this band.
Damn this is the first time that I'm really sad to find out a band is coming to an end. Only discovered them 4 years ago. Saw them 3 times live and I hope there will be one more time. How much are even lifeless sounds responsive to our listening ear!
Damn, I'm not surprised but at the same time I am. I felt like they were on an upward trajectory in terms of popularity and sales from their recent albums, so I thought maybe they would stick around a bit longer or at least tour less and still drop music every few years. But I also have always been expecting this announcement from them since around 2010-11. Either way I'm beyond grateful they stuck around for this long.
i wish i could've seen them so many more times; like, seeing them on this Thrice tour seems like an absolute must now
If they never release any more music then the final lyric has a positive connotation: Someday I’ll find me, Someday I’ll find me...
