It's been a decade, but I liked Thrice, and they weren't top tier for me until I saw them co-headline with another band that I really loved. I came away so impressed by their live performance that they became a main staple in my rotation. Not sure if they still leave the same impression on people hearing them live for the first time, but I don't feel like they've slowed at all in the 7 times I've seen them play.
If I didn’t just see them a few weeks ago then I’d probably go but I’m going to be super busy friends the rest of the year :/
Vheissu stuff also sounds even better live, really fits how Dustin sings these days. Anyway, Untitled still blows me away every time I listen. I really don’t know if I’ve ever been this *into* a record after listening to it consistently for almost a year.
I am so over seeing people make “scene” arguments, like how does one even begin to determine who belongs and who doesn’t? Haven’t all these bands and artists we love and support actively tried to bring out other bands/artists that aren’t what you’d expect so that we could break down these arbitrary “scenes?” Just my two cents.
I don't really listen to Thrice often and when I do only really listen to Vheissu, but they blew me away when I saw them live with Circa Survive.
woke up to a shipping notification, came home from lunch to a package! it’s beautiful side note: i was too excited/confused when ordering and got a spare ep in black. anyone interested in it? I can throw in the shirt (xxl), too.
think there's any chance of an it's all crazy anniversary show? i know it's not their favorite album but it would be cool to at least have a holiday show like they did for brother sister
