Got into them in like the summer/fall of 2005, so the sentimental side of my Foxes love is inseparable from the actual qualities of the album. But still, its perfect blend of energy, groove, & tone really is special & would probably still be towards the top if I were discovering them today. Some of the lyrics I've actually related to even more over time, in ways I wouldn't have predicted. Seeing it performed live on that anniversary tour was so, again, special. Pale Horses & untitled did get close to capturing all the elements I like about the band at once again. The modern era of the band is really the best era for me. But, Foxes will always be that lightning in a bottle project.
The groove of Brother, Sister is mind blowing every time i put it on. They have arguably the best rhythm section in indie rock music imo. I feel like it’s less of a feature on their last couple albums, but still incredible.
Sometimes I feel like I take how amazing those first few albums are for granted. They’re arguably still their best even though they have never released a bad album. Catch and Brother, Sister I mean
Brother, Sister was the album that got me into them. Love it to death. I think [untitled] is a close second for me.
B,S, Untitled, and PH are my top tier CFUTF, TS, Crazy are middle tier AB Life isn't something I've been drawn to listen to more than a few times.
pedro tour ended last night and rick's instagram said they now start a 6 month hibernation. nice to know they're taking some time off and that it's not forever also a to b is great
I think It's All Crazy is the only album by them that I cannot make it through. Was very letdown by it when it came out.
y'all, just got an email saying the Collector's Editions are ready and hopefully be shipping out in the next two weeks
Brother, Sister - Ten Stories - Pale Horses is top tier Then it’s all crazy - untitled - Foxes AB Life is just a style that i don’t really get into, so i don’t wanna hold it against them that i don’t like it. If i ranked it though, it’s a couple power gaps behind the others.

Me too. My only concern is if the text in it will be legible. White on white ain’t exactly the easiest to read haha
