they knew there was going to be a v v v long lead time on the books especially because of all the detail. So back late last year I think they finally got the test pressings and weren't happy with i think at least two rounds of them so that held them up to expect to ship in like April of this year and then the book samples came in and they weren't happy with the quality of those either which pushed them back again. So yeah, as far as I know it's just been them wanting to make sure what they're sending out is as close to perfect as possible.

 

Interesting and unfortunate. I wonder what their quality control guage was

Im guessing it probably came out and looked agreeably fucked up

 

The last update they said they had everything ready to go, it's the book binding that was fucked up apparently so that's the last missing piece before they can start assembling and shipping.

 

Great performance but the sound wasn’t stellar at this place. First time there and I wish I knew the best place to stand. Still played some songs I hadn’t heard in a while, so it was tight.

Son of a Widow always makes me sad knowing their father passed away. That just be hard for them to perform.

 

I thought it was Four Fires that was about their dad? Or just because it references dying?

 

Just referencing dying is all.

 

Love that new wine new skin is getting so much play recently.

 

Listened to this album a couple times this week. Still think it’s perfect. Might buy that deluxe when it comes out.

 

I had a dream that the deluxe edition had shipped out and I was looking at pictures posted by people who had received theirs.

I don't know what it says about my subconscious that even in my dreams I hadn't received my own.

 

mornings are getting slowly cooler here and i was just thinking how i hadn't listened to this in a bit. time to rectify that. getting close to the year anniversary.

 

Apparently Mike Almquist said on FB that the book binding should be in next week and they plan to have all orders shipped out first week of September

 

It will be a beautiful day.
