it's all crazy does not feel like their most accessible album to me. alot of it sounds like some hokie bible camp band doing acid, but i love it so much.
I'm starting to think I might get this album on vinyl sooner if I order the deluxe (which I've been contemplating anyway) instead of waiting on my regular pre-order to arrive.
You'll never know. Just today I got the update that my order has been shipped! Hope I'll have it before the end of the year.
First song of theirs that my friend showed me was Allah, Allah, Allah and I thought, "Why am I listening to Islamic-infused Christian campfire music sung by Kermit the Frog?" Lol. Love the album now, but I would never recommend it as an entry point.
Did you order from the mwY store, or Run For Cover? And do you remember when you ordered? I didn't order right away (my e-mail shows August 20th), so maybe they're shipping out in the order they were received.
Quick question on the EP vinyl. Is it 33 or 45 rpm? I spun the LP first, and then bumped my counterweight a bit, and played the EP and I think it was a different rpm than the LP, but I need to go back and adjust everything.
I have become so obsessed with the new Daughters album that I sorta forgot about this, but I threw it on tonight and man, it is really hitting the spot.
I just bumped into an old friend who is huge on that Daughters album but knew nothing of mwY. Knowing there's a lot of you in here that like both bands, I took it as a chance to open his eyes a bit. Think he's coming around. Feels good.
