"Ocean Song" really solidifies that they sound just like a heavier version of The Paper Chase. A lot of the same "layers upon layers" feeling and eerie sounds and chaos.

Someday This Could All Be Yours, Vol. 1 - Wikipedia ('this is only a test' is a good song to try and @Dog with a Blog it has a line about a swarm of bees, lol. the end of 'what should we do' reminds me of 'ocean song' a lot)

Either of those are great starting points.

Edit: The band/themes/lyrics always come back to some kind of horror movie/story kind of thing, so some of the lyrics are pretty... dark. Not a fan of those really.

I like this album a lot but I think Daughters takes it for me

 

That Daughters album is giving me an itch for extremely abrasive and punishing music but I can't find something good to scratch it right now.

 

Oh, I love The Locust and was just listening to them. I'll check out that Scarlet song.

I think they’re clearly looking at it but glad to know it’s not this tour and then done - they’re the kind of band that need a proper send off in my opinion.

They’ve started the rumour with their cryptic Insta story posts so it would have been odd if they weren’t aware!
