Bethlehem, WV is such a jam. Perfect vibe and sound.

 

The droning guitar towards the end of Matadors is everything

 

Cities of the Plain has been stuck in my head for like 6 days and im totally ok with that

 

bethlehem wv is my favorite song from this era by a huge huge huge huge huge margin. but wendy & betsy is giving it a run for its money

 

Bethlehem is top 10 in the discog

also, love the way Aaron never even raises his voice in dormouse sighs and the swell of instruments just drowns him out

 

I feel like Existential Dread, Six Hours’ Time doesn’t get its’ due. I absolutely love that song.

I haven't done too much browsing but is there an actual mediocre to bad review of this album so far? Even the ones I've read that aren't over the moon about it are still in that 4/5 or 8/10 range.

Which I don't think has been done with an album of theirs since Brother, Sister

 

Only just saw this. Bahaha. Still here. Gonna give this album a whirl considering all I listen to lately is the same Microwave song on repeat.
