I went pretty bold and got the album art of Pale Horses as a half sleeve, it could have gone TERRIBLY if I went to a shitty artist haha

Definitely not perfect, but I was happy with how it turned out (for $400) and I'm shocked at how many people start a convo with me just to tell me I have a badass tattoo haha

We do follow each other now that you mention it, and he liked my comment when I posted "this is going to be way harder than the Pale Horses cover to get a tattoo of" when he posted the LP artwork on his IG

 

Are we to believe 9:27am, 7/29 is two July’s ago?? Cuz that’s probably when they were recording this.

I'd think if anything it's when Aaron was writing the lyrics and he did it as a nod to January 1979.

And I'd expect 3 albums from now to have a song titled 7:29pm, 9/27

 

This record is a perfect progression of their last two albums. No song shows that more than [dormouse sighs]. What a tune.

 

I have to say. I love the way Aaron’s vocals are put in the mix. Really adds to the feel of the songs.

He’s omnipresent when needed, but plays a more subdued role when it calls for it.

 

Omnipresent is a perfect word for the vocals on this album.

 

New Wine, New Skins is a brilliant term, fyi

This album might be the end of me. It really is perfect.

 

Tempted to say that Bethlehem, WV could be the best song of the ‘untitled’ era.

I think from reading and listening to the two interviews posted last week it’s hard to say one song is about one specific topic. So that date/time may have just been a catalyst or beginning to what themes the song is about.

 

I was being facetious haha but I actually agree somewhat with your post, based on all the "storyboard" pictures I've seen on insta and elsewhere of the handrawn crayonish lyrics

 

Someone asked their manager and it wasn't. It was completely unrelated & had already been finished when his son was born on 7/29 this year. He said they were all stunned
