This albums perfect. Jesus Christ. I can’t beleive how great the instrumentals are.

 

I think this record and the EP is where I’m going to land for this band. Just can’t get into any of their other stuff, but I absolutely adore this.

I dunno. I’ve listened to Pale Horses and thought it was okay. Brother, Sister too, and people say those are the ones most similar to this. I dunno, maybe they’ll click over time.

 

Earlier in the thread I, along with others, expressed our love for La Dispute and someone brushed them off as mewithoutYou-lite and then it became this big thing. So I'm just poking at that

Lmao, guilty. I actually preferred la dispute back in the day because I initially hated Weiss's sermon-style singing on some tracks. I was wrong. Very wrong. They both good though.

 

I have not! I’m hoping to make the show with TWIABP in Atlanta in December.

i remember getting an advance of ten stories and being so hyped for a new mwY record and then being really let down. it really grew on me over the years though.

 

I had an instrumental version of Ten Stories that I probably spun far more than the actual release.

 

Ten Stories is arguably their best record c’mon

 

I dunno about that but it's god damn fantastic. Ten Stories to Untitled is an absolutely amazing run.

 

I will say, I dunno if I've ever been more hyped than when I first heard February 1878. After Crazy, which I loved but was obviously a different direction, and the fear that they were gonna break up, hearing Aaron belt "February 8th 1878!!!" was just magical

 

Well yeah okay B,S is still my favorite by them but honestly Ten Stories is a strong #2. Fox’s Dream-All Circles is one of the best runs in their discography, and the one-two punch of February and Grist is unbelievable.
