lol my favorite is this one where it has his rant being played with a compilation of other streamers coming into the room and shooting the enemies and blowing the ceiling blocks open in the process

 

Not even even sure who that guy is, but he makes me feel better about my level of play, and quite frankly my intelligence.

 

oh he only invented God of War and Twisted Metal lol

 

Oh, well the first GOW was a pretty linear button masher. So I guess if that’s your wheelhouse, and Dread is your first Metroidvania…

 

he's just a stupid, stupid man. it's fun to clown on him but other than that it's best to ignore him.

He's a somehow even dumber and irrelevant Joe Rogan of gaming.

 

Raven Beak, geez. This fight is heaps more difficult than anything else in the game for sure. I haven’t even gotten to the second part of the fight yet. Kinda annoying to have to do this elevator sequence every time if I’m being honest

Also the twist! Happy I made it without that being spoiled

 

Jaffe sounds a lot like Jomboy lol

 

Haha. I’ve never seen or heard a full episode of Rogan, but the clips I’ve seen have been more entertaining than this guy lol.

 

Love everything about the game. I’m just kind of taking my time I feel like though, exploring areas (as much as I can). I’m ~6 hours in and I’ve just been to Ferenia and left (back to Burenia) shortly after the Robot Chozo battle.

 

Jaffe also loves to platform people who've been laid off because of "cancel culture" etc.

 

This boss that's fucking up the lava flow, I absolutely refuse to believe it's possible to dodge his attack where he's blowing air across the room and you have to dodge the pink crescents. I get to that part knowing I'm going to lose 2 bars of health.

 

There's one tough jump to time, maybe the 2nd to last line of crescents, but it's definitely doable to get in a good rhythm with it after you've seen it a lot

 

I beat the boss but I’ll never be able to do it. I can dodge a couple rows but once your fuck up it’s over

 

Anything with speed boost or shine spark is just impossible to me. I can’t figure out how to keep momentum

 

I'll never 100% this lol. Some of the boost/spark combos required for energy tanks are ridiculous

i actually rage quit this for the first time yesterday. quit without saving and took the game card out; it was just getting straight up not fun.

it was the twin robot chozo fight.
holy fuck it was pissing me off.

 

use your missile barrage and they go down REAL FUCKING QUICK

 

Yeah I was honestly surprised when they started exploding, I was just running around and barely aiming at them and using the autotarget missiles

 

Generally if you have very recently gotten an ability, that's the one the game wants you to use.

 

Also yah having beat those shinespark puzzles - they are savage. Gotta get that pixel perfect walljump timing and spark at the right time, thankfully there's only about 4-5 of those types of puzzles in the game

 

It’s gonna take me as long to beat the final boss as it did to get through the entire rest of the game haha. The move set when he hits the second phase is insane, that circular rapid fire thing he does is too much

 

I have mastered the first two phases of the final boss. So close.

 

The circlular gun thing — do you just jump around in a circle? Am I big braining this?

 

Just gotta time it up and spin around him, yeah.

I find that if I start wide to the screen when he primes his gun, I can zip to the other side of him to give me some extra time to adjust the space jump timing as I circle him.

Stay as close to him as possible without touching his body (I’ve found that there isn’t a consequence for touching his wings).
